Eligibility

Find out in a few questions — before you pay anything.

Nigeria runs more than one programme, and which one you belong in depends on your line. Pick Nigeria, answer questions about your family, and get an honest read. Free, no account, no card.

Nigeria — Citizenship by Birth (s.25)

Nigerian citizenship by birth under Constitution section 25(1)(c) for a person born outside Nigeria to a parent who was a Nigerian citizen at that birth; maternal and paternal transmission are equal in the constitutional text.

Nigeria — Registration by Descent (s.26)

Nigerian citizenship by registration under Constitution section 26(2)(b) for an adult of full capacity with a Nigerian-citizen grandparent, where the intervening parent was not a citizen at the applicant's birth; domicile, oath and discretionary approval are disclosed route conditions.

Most people find out the real problem isn’t the bloodline.

Documents

This is a real vault. Built from your line, not a template.

Every Nigeria case gets a document list built from that family's actual line. A marriage certificate appears only where a name actually changes; a death certificate only where the programme asks for one.

Built from your line, not a template

If your case doesn’t need it, you never see it. One of these records is needed for every person on your line, so your own total depends on how far back your line goes — we work it out once we know. Which of these lists is yours depends on which programme your line puts you in — the free check settles that first.

Ordered once, shared across the family

Your anchor ancestor’s records serve every relative applying on the same line. Family members see status. They never see the document.

Cost

What it actually costs, including the parts that aren't ours.

Our fee is $100 a person. Everything else goes to a government or a records office, at cost, never marked up.

Heritage Passport

$100 per person, one time. Whole dollars, no subscription.

Heritage Passport · per person$100

We do not publish a government fee for Nigeria yet. Rather than estimate one, we leave it out — you will see the real figure before anything is ordered.

Life in Nigeria

Some people want the passport. Some want the country.

If you're thinking about actually going, our sister platform covers what it costs to live in Nigeria, how residency works, and what the tax picture looks like.

Citizenship first, or country first

A Nigeria passport doesn’t require you to move. But if moving is the point, it’s worth knowing the numbers before you start a long paperwork process.

Same family, different destinations

Families frequently qualify for more than one country. The free check shows every path, so you can choose on the merits rather than on the one you happened to think of.

Programme facts on this page render from verified programme knowledge. Nothing here is estimated or invented.
