Is Heritage Passport a law firm?

No. Heritage Passport is a software platform. We do not provide legal advice or representation. We help families organize the work around a citizenship-by-descent case.

What if my family doesn't qualify?

You keep everything: the family tree you built, the record list, and a plain explanation of what blocked the path. You've paid nothing. And if a law changes later — they do, regularly — we'll tell you.

Does the platform guarantee citizenship approval?

No. Approval is decided by the government of the country you apply to. We make sure your case is complete, accurate, and filed against current rules.

How does this work if I already have an attorney?

Give them access to your case file in one link. They see the family line, every document, and what's outstanding without an email thread. Most attorneys spend less billable time on a case that arrives organized.

Can several family members apply through one family case?

Heritage Passport membership is free for everyone who joins. Each applicant keeps their own case requirements. Pro and Circle services are lifetime benefits for one person; existing family invitation rules still apply.

Will the price go up?

Heritage Passport is free for life. Pro has an introductory price within thirty days of joining and a standard price afterward. Circle is priced by cohort. See the current comparison for your price and deadline.

What exactly am I paying for?

Membership is free. Record packets are prepared for a per-record preparation fee, or included with Pro and Circle. Government certificates, translations, apostilles, and attorney services remain separate. You pay the issuing office directly.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Heritage Passport Pro and Heritage Circle come with a 7-day money-back guarantee. Your 7 days start the day you pay, and every family member who joins gets their own. Email us within that window and we'll refund your membership fee in full, no questions asked. For Heritage Circle, you have 7 days from paying or until your cohort's first session, whichever is later. And if you bought Pro or Circle and the government refuses an application you prepared with us, we refund that fee in full. Record orders go straight to government offices, so they're final once placed. Read the refund policy.

How do you make money if the eligibility check is free?

The check is free because we'd rather you find out you don't qualify before you pay us anything. We make money when families who do have a path decide to use the platform to pursue it.
