Is Heritage Passport a law firm?

No. Heritage Passport is a software platform. We do not provide legal advice or representation. We help families organize the work around a citizenship-by-descent case.

What if my family doesn't qualify?

You keep everything: the family tree you built, the record list, and a plain explanation of what blocked the path. You've paid nothing. And if a law changes later — they do, regularly — we'll tell you.

Does the platform guarantee citizenship approval?

No. Approval is decided by the government of the country you apply to. We make sure your case is complete, accurate, and filed against current rules.

How does this work if I already have an attorney?

Give them access to your case file in one link. They see the family line, every document, and what's outstanding without an email thread. Most attorneys spend less billable time on a case that arrives organized.

Can several family members apply through one family case?

Yes, and the research is shared — but the price is not. Each applicant files their own case and pays their own $100: four relatives is $400, eight is $800. There is no whole-family price and no unlimited-relatives bundle.

Will the price go up?

$100 per person is founding-family pricing, for the first 1,000 families. After that the standard price is $250 per person. Your Heritage Passport access is for life at the price you paid.

What exactly am I paying for?

Lifetime access to the platform for one person: eligibility across every program we cover, the family line builder, per-program document requirements, record retrieval tools, and family coordination. Government fees, certified copies, translations, and apostilles are separate and go to the issuing authority at cost.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Our refund policy states the window, when it closes, and which third-party costs are not ours to return.

How do you make money if the eligibility check is free?

The check is free because we'd rather you find out you don't qualify before you pay us anything. We make money when families who do have a path decide to use the platform to pursue it.
