About Heritage Passport

~24.7M Americans may be entitled to a second citizenship. ~180K/yr a year claim one.

The gap is not family history. It is the work required to turn that history into an organized, record-backed claim.

The problem we solve

The barrier is not ancestry. It is the process.

Requirements are written for administrators, records sit across agencies that do not share systems, and current rules can outpace the article a family first found online.

Heritage Passport turns those disconnected obligations into one case: the family line, the governing program, the exact evidence gaps, the authority that owns each record, and the next action that can actually move.

Where we sit

We are not an alternative to attorneys. We are the layer beneath them.

Some cases genuinely need a specialist: judicial routes, contested records, and administrative appeals among them. When a case is one of those, we say so.

Our job is to make sure the applicant—and any professional they engage—works from a file that is complete, organized, and explicit about uncertainty before anyone bills an hour against it.

We sit between the people who may qualify and everyone who helps them file—never in place of them.

One million Americans.By the end of the decade.

One million people holding a citizenship they were always entitled to and never claimed. The constraint was never a lack of family history. It was a lack of infrastructure. So we are building it.

What we are building

A platform built for ancestry-based citizenship. Not adapted to it.

The shared country projection keeps different coverage claims separate. A country in the catalog is not automatically visible in Explore, and an Explore entry is not automatically a live eligibility check or an in-depth pathway.

Common questions

About the company, not the product.

Is Heritage Passport a law firm?
No. Heritage Passport is a technology platform. We do not provide legal advice or file on your behalf. When a case needs counsel, we say so.
Do you compete with attorneys?
No. We organize the evidence and administrative work so a specialist can spend time on legal judgment instead of reconstructing the family file.
Where does my data go?
Family records are protected by account- and case-scoped controls. The security page explains the current safeguards and their limits in plain language.
How is this different from genealogy?
Genealogy explains who your ancestors were. Heritage Passport connects those family facts to a current citizenship path and the evidence needed to support it.

Your family tree may already hold the answer.
